Several Marketing Derby Bondholders have been shortlisted for awards which recognise the region’s best leaders.

The finalists for the East Midlands Leadership Awards 2023, organised by TheBusinessDesk.com, have been announced.

Leading the way with two nominations is Vibrant Accountancy, with owner Bev Wakefield up for Professional Services Leader and Emma Vickers shortlisted for Young Leader (aged 35 and under).

Joining Emma in the Young Leader category is Oliver Hatton, from Pick Everard.

Among the finalists for Public and Third Sector Leader is Tracy Harrison, chief executive of specialist child exploitation charity Safe and Sound.

And Ann Bhatti, head of the Connect Derby managed workspace scheme is shortlisted for Diversity & Inclusion Leader.

The winners, including the overall Leader of the Year title, will be announced at an awards ceremony in Nottingham on 23 March.

Sam Metcalf, Midlands editor at TheBusinessDesk.com, who chaired the judging panel, said: “The standard of this year’s entrants was higher than ever, displaying the depth and breadth of the leadership talent in the East Midlands.

“I’d like to thank our judging panel for their time and expertise and wish all the shortlisted individuals all the best for our awards evening in March.”
