Several Marketing Derby Bondholders have been shortlisted for awards recognising the region’s top leaders.

The shortlists for the East Midlands Leadership Awards, organised by The Business Desk, have recently been announced.

The awards celebrate the region’s brightest and boldest leaders across a range of sectors.

Bev Wakefield, from Vibrant Accountancy, has secured three nominations.

She is up for Professional Services Leader, Company Leader (up to 50 employees) and Transformational Leader.

Bev is joined in the Company Leader (up to 50 employees) category by Aaron Buchan, of DSP (Interiors), who is also nominated for the Mentor award.

Andrew Parker, of SDL Property Auctions, is shortlisted for Company Leader (51 – 100 employees) and Property Leader, where he is joined by fellow nominee Marc Brough, of Cubo.

Another individual who has secured two nominations is Alstom’s Ben Goodwin. He is nominated for Manufacturing Leader and Diversity & Inclusion Leader, where he is joined by Louisa Mason-Hayes, of Champions Speakers, which is part of Champions (UK) plc.

Louisa is also shortlisted for HR Leader, alongside Stacy Bone from The Recruitment Group.

There are further nominations for Champions Speakers’ staff in the Young Leader (aged 35 and under), Green Leader and Sales Leader categories.

Karinna Shields, of The Recruitment Group, is also shortlisted in the Sales Leader category.

Tim Rookes, from Truly SMB will also contest two awards – Technology Leader and Transformational Leader.

And, finally, Sanj Kumar, of NK Motors, is a finalist in the Company Leader (101 + employees) category.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 19 March.
