Bondholders among dealmaker nominees

Several Marketing Derby Bondholders have been shortlisted for awards, which recognise firms involved in key deals across the East Midlands.

Freeths, Geldards, PwC, NatWest and HSBC UK are among the nominees for Insider’s East Midlands Dealmaker Awards.

Freeths is a finalist in the Corporate Law Firm of the Year category, with the firm’s Mallory Coxe up for Emerging Dealmaker of the Year.

Both Geldards and PwC are part of teams up for awards recognising the best deals, as is HSBC UK.

Meanwhile, both HSBC UK and NatWest are shortlisted for Bank of the Year.

Insider editor Kurt Jacobs, who chaired the judging session, said: “The judges were presented with a particularly testing set of nominations for this year’s awards.

“They were faced with the double challenge of great quality and great quantity.

“It’s a testament to the sector’s strength that there has been no drop in standards, despite a challenging few years.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Nottingham on 25 May.
