Agent seals deal for 350,000 sq ft of space at business park
FHP Property Consultants has announced the letting of two large units at a Derbyshire business park, totalling over 350,000 sq ft.
The two units at Dove Valley Park, Foston, developed as part of the Axis Portfolio by Hines, have been leased to third party logistics firm Super Smart Service.
The buildings – DVP 196 and 152 – comprise 195,678 sq ft and 152,728 sq ft respectively and provide high class industrial and logistics space.
Both units have been leased to Super Smart Service on new 15-year leases.
The deal follows the letting of DVP 113 to Uniphar in 2025.

Darran Severn, from FHP Property Consultants, said: “I’m delighted to say that both DVP 152 and DVP 196 are now let and it has been a pleasure working with Hines and the wider team.
“The units themselves provide high-quality warehouse and distribution accommodation with 12 metre eaves, level access and dock level loading bays, large delivery yards and qualify at BREEAM Excellent with EPC A ratings.”
Dove Valley Park is a major 200-acre employment park, off the A50.
Current occupiers on the site include JCB, GXO, MEG and Truma.
Darran added: “The year so far has very much been dominated by ‘big box’ warehouse deals across the East Midlands with strong activity above 200,000 sq ft.
“Along the A50 corridor alone we have seen significant take up in Derby and at the Junction 25 M1 intersection.
“Dove Valley Park benefits from its central location having excellent access to local industries in Derby, Burton and Stoke, as well as being well connected to both the M1 and M6 motorways.
“With strong take up throughout the year there remains little stock between 100,000 sq ft and 350,000 sq ft within our area.
“As a result, we hope to see the next wave of speculatively built units begin despite the uncertainty in the general economy.”
