In the Professional Services category, Smith Partnership and Nelsons are flying the flag for the Bondholder community.

Meanwhile, in the Small Business of the Year, Indian fine dining business Anoki will be hoping to serve up a victory.

Finally, in the Community Impact category, Derby Swap Shop and Ask the Chameleon will be vying for top honours.

Sam Metcalf, Midlands editor of TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of entries for this year’s awards, with many demonstrating resilience and forward-thinking in the face of the challenges brought about by the pandemic.

“The judges had some very tough decisions to make over the shortlist, as the competition was extremely high.

The winners will be announced at TheBusinessDesk.com’s annual East Midlands dinner, which is due to take place on Thursday 21 October at Colwick Hall, in Nottingham.
