Radar helps Derby steel company make six-figure investment

Radar Finance and Leasing has helped a Derby steel company invest in more than half a million pounds worth of new machinery.

The finance broker, based in Brailsford, assisted long-standing client Eggleston Steel with the £560,000 purchase of its new LVD Fibre Laser Machine and LVD Dyna-Press.

Both machines came from LVD’s headquarters, in Belgium.

Mr Hewitt said: “The time had come for our old CO2 Laser to be replaced.

“Following the successful transition to LVD 18 months ago, it was a simple decision when looking for the next generation of laser.

“The LVD’s 10kW Phoenix Fibre Laser ticked every box to become our fourth machine from the same manufacturer.

“So, it was just left to the matter of finance. We have been dealing with Radar Finance for six years and having received excellent service from James and the team, they were the obvious choice to move things forward.”

Towards the end of last year, Radar Finance and Leasing scooped the Asset Finance Broker of the Year title at the recently held National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) annual awards.

The firm helps businesses and individuals acquire and hire assets using a variety of funding and vehicle sourcing options.

It also has direct access to funders who will provide unsecured business loans to be used for any business purpose.
