A trio of Marketing Derby Bondholders have signed up to support local athletes by backing Derbyshire Institute of Sport.

Customer Plus, Neale Lewis Associates and Katapult have all recently signed up the organisation’s Thrive Sponsorship Programme.

They join fellow Bondholders Wytech, HUUB, Blue Arrow, Cosy Direct, PwC and JKE Security, who are already backing the scheme, which aims to help local athletes become world-class.

Chloe Maudsley, managing director of DIS, said: “We invest the money we receive from sponsors back into the unique support services that we wrap around talented young athletes with a dream of being world-class.

“In return, we give our sponsors a chance to tap into the knowledge and support of our coaches who can offer fitness, lifestyle and psychology training to them and their employees. It’s a win-win situation.

“We are delighted and honoured to have received support from so many Bondholders.

“Together we can make Derbyshire synonymous with success and a champion mindset – in sport, in business and in life.”

Richard Beevers, managing director of Customer Plus, said: “I have always believed in transferring lessons in performance from sport to business.

“Sponsoring DIS enables us to tap into experts with expert knowledge in skills in creating high performance.

“As someone who has enjoyed playing sport all my life, I am also keen to support DIS’s efforts to encourage sport for all.”

Neale Lewis said: “Neale Lewis Associates is delighted to sponsor the Derbyshire Institute of Sport.

“Whether it be in the boardroom or on the sports field, we believe that everyone deserves to have the right support, encouragement, resources and coaching in order to fully unlock their potential.”

Dawn Foote, co-founder and chief executive of Katapult, said: “Supporting athletes with sports science services from a young age really improves the chances of them becoming professionals in their field, which is one of the reasons we decided to support DIS.

“Another reason is our very own team at Katapult will now be able to benefit from the expertise and knowledge of the DIS health and wellbeing professionals.

“Our business is all about a top-performing creative team, so the wellbeing of our team is super important to us.”
