The Club has been working with Purpose Media to build and develop a fan-first website since moving away from the EFL Digital agreement some years ago.

The Purpose Media team has worked closely with DCFC to improve the livestream service hosted on the website. Through rigorous website and server testing, it can now handle enhanced traffic with improved usability of the streaming service for fans.

Purpose Media’s Technical Director, Tim Lenton said: “As football fans ourselves, we know how important it is for fans to watch the game, even if it’s from home. After a long break in the season, we knew demand for the streaming service would skyrocket, so we made sure the servers could handle the increased traffic as smoothly as possible.”

Head of IT Services at DCFC, Martin Coleman, added: “Purpose Media have been great throughout the whole process. They knew exactly what needed to be done in order to give our supporters the best game experience given the unprecedented circumstances.”

Moreover, Purpose Media has recently helped one of its clients, IT managed services and software provider, Retail Assist, in the launch of its latest product, OMIO PIM, amid the Coronavirus lockdown.

As part of its new product launch campaign, Retail Assist is unveiling its new software online via a series of animated videos made by Purpose Media.

Matt Wheatcroft, Purpose Media’s Managing Director, commented: “In the current climate, it’s important for businesses to consider the way in which they communicate their message to their audience. Videos and animations are powerful communication tools and can be done with little to no physical interaction, making them an ideal choice given the circumstances. We look forward to working with Retail Assist in the future and wish them the best of luck with OMIO PIM.”
