As the government sets out new initiatives including its vision for tackling the climate crisis, bringing forward the UK’s phase-out of diesel and petrol vehicles and accelerating the phase-out of coal-fired power, it is clear that UK businesses need to look inward to explore how they are addressing their own environmental impact, to ensure they remain competitive, relevant and sustainable.

The event will focus on some of the strategies, efficiencies and support available to businesses to enable the creation of manufactured products in a way that reduces pollution, energy use and reduces waste, whilst remaining economically viable and competitive.

There will be a range of keynote presentations and panel discussions on the day, including speakers and panellists from fellow Bondholders Toyota, D2N2 LEP, Derby College Group and the University of Derby. The conference will provide an opportunity to hear exemplar case studies, with an opportunity to network over refreshments and a buffet lunch.

East Midlands Chamber has kindly offered Marketing Derby Bondholders the opportunity to book onto the conference at the Chamber member rate (£25 instead of £75 – VAT applies) – just include code “MD01” in the text box when booking.
