The annual programme of Evening Talks at Cromford Mills is being launched tonight by Bondholder The Arkwright Society.

Tonight's special event will be hosted by two Derbyshire writers, Christopher Charlton and Doreen Buxton authors of ‘Matlock Bath a perfectly romantic place’, presenting a picturesque look back in time as they tell the story of Matlock Bath through voices from its past in this fascinating evening.

They will use their research to present Matlock Bath’s story in a novel way, through the voices of the people who saw it all happen. The readings will be illustrated with rare views of Matlock Bath’s past from prints, paintings and photographs alongside an explanatory commentary.
