Embark Federation

Embark Federation is a family of 25 schools across Derbyshire who believe that by working together as a team, we can create schools that ‘stand out’ at the heart of their communities.

Our four core beliefs -Family, Integrity, Teamwork, and Success,  are central to everything we do. We maintain high standards across our schools while ensuring that the school experience for our young people is engaging, inspiring, and memorable.

As part of our commitment to providing a rich and meaningful experience for our pupils, we have created the Embark Award. This consists of a series of activities for children to complete before they leave school at 11 and 18, helping to develop well-rounded individuals who are prepared to make a difference in the world.

We also place great emphasis on our staff, recognising that well-supported, motivated adults are key to delivering an excellent education. Our staff development programme is designed to provide a first-class platform for ambitious individuals to grow their careers and achieve their goals, while contributing to the success of our schools and pupils.

We are always interested in connecting with local businesses and community organisations who share our values and are involved in educational initiatives. Through platforms like Marketing Derby, we enjoy engaging with the wider community and sharing the exciting opportunities and experiences our schools provide for children and young people.
