Themed attraction designer brings some Turkish delight

International themed attraction designer Katapult has collaborated on an ambitious new leisure destination currently under development in Turkey.

The Derby firm has joined forces with DOF Robotics – a global leader in robotic systems, immersive education and amusement technologies and motion simulators – to design NEO Cappadocia, in Cappadocia.

NEO Cappadocia merges cutting-edge attraction technology with authentic narrative world-building, creating a next-generation destination designed to captivate regional visitors and international travellers alike.

Katapult worked closely with DOF Robotics to translate high-tech motion and sensory hardware into a cohesive, story-led guest journey.

It will include three unique experiences telling the stories of the local area.

In NEO Flight, a flying simulator will allow guests to imagine being a bird as they soar over Cappadocia.

After walking through the explorer’s workshop, guests will journey on the all-weather balloon ride, as they gently rise to reveal the valleys, dovecotes and rock-carved churches from below.

And finally, in the Theatre, guests will witness thousand-year-old legends come alive on a giant scale, right before their eyes.

As well as offering immersive entertainment, guests will be able to stay overnight and dine in luxury on the picturesque roof terrace.
