Derbion building momentum with latest toy store opening

Derbion has announced that a local independent toy store and building brick specialist is set to arrive at the centre this autumn.

BarnDawg will open a 1,111 sq ft store, bringing together a diverse range of building brick sets, from new, retired and pre-owned LEGO sets to illuminated builds, historically accurate military models, advanced motorised sets and highly detailed miniature builds from specialist brands including Lumibricks, COBI and many more.

Located on Level 1, opposite M&S, the new store will mark BarnDawg’s second opening in Derbyshire and offers shoppers the chance to get closer to their favourite brick brands with interactive elements, including a bulk brick station, where fans can dig through a huge mix of bricks and pieces to curate their own bag or box to take home.

The store will also display fully built models for visitors to discover, as well as a dedicated trade-in centre, where customers can bring in selected genuine LEGO products.

This includes everything from sealed and pre-owned sets to pre-built models and larger collections.

The new arrival joins Derbion’s line-up of toy retailers, including The Entertainer, Toy Planet and more.
