Rail Forum’s charity golf day raises thousands

A golf day organised by Rail Forum has raised £4,000 for a social enterprise that helps people get back on their feet.

The Rail Forum Charity Golf Day 2026, which took place at the Horsley Lodge Estate, brought together members from across the rail industry for a day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising.

Together they competed for the Neil Harvey Memorial Trophy, while raising cash for Rail Forum’s nominated charity Ethstat Ethical CIC, which provides sustainable products and services, with all profits reinvested to help street-homeless, prison leavers and families living with dementia.

In a statement, Rail Forum said: “It was wonderful to see so many enjoying the course, making new connections and strengthening existing ones in a relaxed setting.

“A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, donated raffle prizes and helped support our nominated charity.

“Your generosity will make a real difference, and we’re grateful to everyone who contributed to another successful event.”
