Frozen yoghurt experience opens at Derbion

A new self-serve frozen yoghurt experience has opened for business at the Derbion shopping centre.

YOSWIRL, founded by Derbyshire-based Joana Richardson, has opened its first retail location at the centre after winning its Hatch competition, which helps up and coming brands.

As a result, the business has been given up to 12 weeks of free retail space and marketing support.

YOSWIRL allows customers to create their own pick-and-mix high protein yoghurt bowl before weighing and paying at the till.

Beth McDonald, managing director at Derbion, said: “YOSWIRL brings something completely new to Derbion, giving our visitors the chance to enjoy a fun, interactive frozen yoghurt experience that’s unlike anything else at the centre.

“From the moment we met Joana, we were impressed by her passion, creativity and clear vision for the brand and it’s fantastic to see that ambition come to life.

“We’re proud to support another independent retailer as they begin their journey through our Hatch initiative, helping us continue to offer a fresh and vibrant line up and even more reasons to visit.”
