Businesses encouraged to back awards celebrating positive impact
Derby Social Ventures is inviting businesses to come forward and sponsor its annual awards, which celebrate local social innovation and purpose-driven entrepreneurship.
The Derby Impact Awards 2026 are set to take place at Derby Museums’ Museum & Art Gallery on Thursday 19 November.
They celebrate the organisations, businesses, charities, social enterprises and individuals who are creating positive social, environmental and economic impact across Derby and Derbyshire.
This year’s event will feature an impressive line-up of civic leaders and speakers, including Mayor of the East Midlands Claire Ward, who is the figurehead of the East Midlands Combined County Authority, Derby North MP Catherine Atkinson and the Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Liz Fothergill CBE.
The awards are proudly supported by Nimbus Disability as strategic partner.

There are a range of sponsorship opportunities now available for organisations wishing to demonstrate their commitment to Derby’s thriving impact economy.
Businesses can support the awards by sponsoring an individual award category, with additional partnership packages available for organisations looking for greater visibility and engagement before, during and after the event.
Keith Jeffrey, co-founder of Derby Social Ventures, said: “Across Derby there are hundreds of organisations quietly changing lives every day.
“The Derby Impact Awards shine a spotlight on those achievements and celebrate the people making our city stronger, fairer and more sustainable.
“Sponsorship is more than a marketing opportunity – it’s a chance to stand alongside the organisations and individuals creating lasting change in our communities.”
Sponsors benefit from brand recognition throughout the awards campaign, opportunities to join the judging panel, present awards on the night, and connect with Derby’s growing network of purpose-driven organisations and business leaders.
