Design and fit-out specialist completes head office transformation
DSP (Interiors) has completed the transformation of an empty Derby office into the flagship UK base for a global technology firm.
The design and fit-out specialist was appointed by Syntegon Technology UK to create its new UK service head office at Pentagon House, delivering a full fit-out across 4,000 sq ft of space.

The project marks a continuation of a long-standing relationship between the two businesses, with Syntegon returning to DSP after the company successfully delivered its previous Derby facility under the Bosch brand more than a decade ago.
Working to a 12-week programme, DSP transformed the vacant second-floor space into a contemporary workplace designed to support collaboration, training, client engagement and employee wellbeing.
The fit-out included extensive space planning, bespoke interior design, mechanical and electrical works, acoustic meeting rooms, breakout areas, furniture installation and custom joinery throughout.
At the heart of the design is a central collaboration hub, giving employees a flexible space to meet, work and share ideas away from traditional desk settings.
Dedicated boardroom and training facilities sit alongside a feature work café, creating a workplace that balances functionality with a strong sense of identity.
According to DSP (Interiors), the project reflects a growing trend among businesses seeking workplaces that do more than simply house staff, instead creating environments that support culture, productivity and talent retention.

Design director Aaron Buchan said: “This project is a great example of how thoughtful workplace design can completely transform the way a business uses its space.
“Like a growing number of clients who approach us, a key driver was to attract staff back into the office on a more regular basis.
“From the outset, our focus was on understanding how the Syntegon team works day to day and creating an environment that supports those activities naturally.
“Every element of the design was carefully considered, from the flow of the space and the use of natural light through to the balance between collaboration and focused work.
“We are proud to have delivered a workplace that not only looks impressive but genuinely improves the experience of the people who use it every day.”
