The latest Bondholder appointments and promotions
Chevin Homes, LDC, NK Motors and L.E.A.D. IT Services are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.
Housebuilder Chevin Homes has announced that Clayton Penny has joined the board of directors and been promoted to land and planning director.

Managing director Dan Stack said: “Over the past four years we have been impressed with Clayton’s efforts to drive and expand our land pipeline, which we have seen come to fruition with some of our latest developments and other upcoming projects.
“It’s great news that he is joining our board.”
Clayton said: “I’m thrilled to have been promoted to land and planning director and to join the board at what is an exciting time for Chevin Homes.
“We have a healthy development pipeline, and I am looking forward to contributing to the next chapter of success for the company.”
Private equity firm LDC has strengthened its regional investment team with the appointment of Alistair Smith as investment manager, as it continues to expand its deal activity across the East Midlands and East of England.

He brings more than a decade of corporate finance experience.
In his new role, Alistair will focus on identifying investment opportunities and supporting the management teams of LDC’s portfolio businesses as they pursue growth strategies.
David Bains, partner and head of LDC in the East Midlands and East of England, said: “It’s been a busy start to the year and we’re seeing strong momentum across the region.
“Strengthening the team with Alistair’s appointment puts us in an even better position to build on that.
“Alistair brings valuable experience and will play an important role as we continue to support ambitious management teams across the East Midlands and East of England.”
Car retailer NK Motors has grown its headcount as it closes in on its £100 million turnover target.
The Kia dealer, which operates across Long Eaton, Chilwell and Derby Pride Park, has taken on 10 new staff and apprentices.
The new hires include Ruby Harwood, 24, who recently joined in a newly created brand ambassador role.
Also among the new arrivals is Alfie Adamson, who joined as an apprentice aged 16.

Managing director Sanj Kumar said the company’s success is driven by both the strength of Kia’s vehicle range and its continued investment in people.
He said: “The business has continued to expand its apprenticeship programme and wider team as it builds towards its ambitious growth plans.
“We always say that our apprentices and young people are a vital part of this journey.”
Finally, IT and technology services company L.E.A.D. IT Services has appointed Chris Edwards as its new partnership development manager.

Chris joins the social enterprise after exiting a previous business specialising in audio visual and security technology.
Chris’s connection with L.E.A.D. IT Services runs deep. He met the company’s director Lee Jepson in a field in the Peak District when both were volunteering for the long-standing and much-loved charity Derby Kids’ Camp.
Having been chairman for many years, Chris recently became the charity’s president.
Lee said: “We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Chris Edwards to join us here at L.E.A.D. IT Services. What can I say – we met in a field, now we’re sitting across a desk from each other!
“It’s very fitting that he has joined us as partnership development manager because partnership is at the heart of everything we do – just as it is with Derby Kids’ Camp.
“We’re really excited about the next chapter for L.E.A.D. IT Services with Chris on board, and everything the months and years ahead will bring.”
