Repton School is eyeing further growth following a year punctuated by expansion, awards and academic and sporting success.

Last year, Repton, which is one of Britain’s oldest schools, founded in 1557, added St Hugh’s School, in Lincolnshire, to the ‘Repton Family of Schools ‘.

Today, it educates more than 10,000 pupils across three continents – with schools in the UK, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, China and Egypt.

According to Mark Semmence, headmaster of Repton School and chief executive of the Repton Group, Repton is not just maintaining its position as one of the country’s leading independent schools – it is building something broader and more connected.

He said: “What this signals is, at one level, simple: we intend to be the school of choice for pupils worldwide.”

With ambitious plans for further UK and international expansion, Repton Group is now recruiting a global director of marketing and communications to help shape and tell its story.
