Award-winning eatery set to open second outlet

Award-winning eatery OMOMO Korean Street Food and Bubble Tea is set to open a second outlet on the back of its success in Derby.

The business, founded by Lesley So, is due to launch its latest outlet in Sheffield.

OMOMO began life in the Strand, in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, in 2024, selling authentic Korean street food – and providing jobs for people new to the city.

It became an instant hit – winning Best Newcomer at the 2024 Marketing Derby Food and Drink Awards.

Now, Lesley is set to spread her award-winning recipe for success to Sheffield – and beyond.

She said: “We’re opening this as a second branch on the back of the success of the one in Derby.

“We’re also planning on opening more in the future, so there are exciting times ahead.”
