Several Bondholders shortlisted for deal-making awards







Several Marketing Derby Bondholders have been shortlisted for awards which celebrate the corporate finance individuals and teams responsible for the top deals of the year.
The shortlist for the 2025 East Midlands Rainmakers Awards, organised by TheBusinessDesk, has recently been revealed.

It features individuals and teams responsible for arranging hundreds of deals, mergers and acquisitions over the last 12 months.
Flint Bishop and Nelsons are both up for the Regional Legal Team award, while Shakespeare Martineau is shortlisted in the National Legal Team category.
Dains is among the nominees for Regional Corporate Finance Advisory Team, while LDC is shortlisted for VC/PE Team.
Dains is also among the finalists in the Transaction Services Team category, while Howden will be going for honours in the Insurance Team category.
Deals involving LDC feature across the Small Deal of the Year (up to £10m), Medium Deal of the Year (£10m–£50m) and Large Deal of the Year (£50m+) categories.
Among the deals shortlisted for Medium Deal of the Year is the acquisition by Swedish industrial group Indutrade of family-owned rail hydraulics specialist Tidyco, a deal on which both Dains and Flint Bishop advised.
In terms of individual awards, David Bains, of LDC and Roy Farmer, of Dains, are both up for the Rainmaker of the Year award.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Nottingham on Wednesday 5 November.
