Chamber shortlisted for prestigious national title

East Midlands Chamber has been named as a finalist for UK Chamber of the Year 2025 title by The British Chambers of Commerce.

The title is awarded to one of the 51 accredited chambers of commerce that make up the British Chambers of Commerce network.

It recognises the chamber that delivers growth and prosperity to the UK and local community.

Among recent accomplishments of East Midlands Chamber is the delivery of a £4.6 million UKSPF-funded Accelerator project, which has supported almost 14,000 firms, secured almost £10 million in business support, grants and loans and created over 1,000 jobs.

Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: “UK Chamber of the Year is the highest level of recognition a chamber of commerce in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland can get, so to be announced as a finalist is tremendous.

“Being shortlisted for this prestigious title is testament to the sheer dedication and hard work of the East Midlands Chamber team, underlining their commitment to championing the business community every day and leading growth across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.”

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in October.
