Safeguarding charity welcomes latest ambassador


Safe and Sound has welcomed an education expert as its latest ambassador.
The charity, which is dedicated to protecting children and young people from exploitation, has appointed Carol Ezis to the role.

Carol, who has recently retired from her role as learning director for human development at Derby Moor Spencer Academy.
She brings a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, their emotional and psychological needs and the vulnerabilities they might face.
The charity said her strong connections within the local community and the education sector will be instrumental in raising awareness in schools, fostering new partnerships and ensuring that more young people and families receive the vital support they need.
