Work has completed on a new state-of-the-art facility at Infinity Park Derby for a lathe technology supplier.
The bespoke 24,050 sq ft development has been delivered for Star Micronics GB, a supplier of CNC sliding head and fixed head lathe solutions.
The firm, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Star Micronics Co, a Japanese multinational automatic lathe manufacturer, has relocated from its previous premises in Raynesway to support its continued growth.
Developed by Infinity Park Derby LLP and constructed by Wilten, the project was completed ahead of schedule and follows the successful completion of the adjacent BOC facility by the same delivery team.
Star Micronics’ move to Infinity Park Derby was facilitated by joint agents Salloway Property Consultants and Savills.

Henry Henson, on behalf of Infinity Park Derby LLP, said: “We are delighted to have delivered this high-quality facility for Star Micronics GB Ltd at Infinity Park Derby.
“This development reflects the strength of collaboration across the project team and reinforces Infinity Park Derby’s position as a leading location.”

The new building comprises a high-specification workshop, two-storey office accommodation, and a dedicated training showroom, alongside extensive external works including car parking and HGV access to support operational efficiency.
The building also incorporates a range of environmental features, including an EPC A rating, photovoltaic solar panels, air source heat pumps, and electric vehicle charging.
Stephen Totty, managing director at Star Micronics GB, said: “Our relocation to this purpose-built facility marks an exciting new chapter for Star Micronics in the UK.
“The new space allows us to enhance our operational capabilities, improve customer training experiences and continue delivering industry-leading solutions.”
