Derby Cathedral is appealing for volunteers to help out when a stunning moon art installation returns next month.

From 12 October to 10 November, Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon will once again be situated in the cathedral’s nave.

Measuring seven metres in diameter, Museum of the Moon features detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface and is accompanied by an atmospheric surround sound composition.

It is expected to attract thousands of visitors, with a programme of events planned.

The cathedral is looking for volunteers to help with welcoming and supporting the events programme, which runs throughout the installation.

If you or your team are interested in volunteering, please complete the form at http://www.derbycathedral.org/moonvolunteers or e-mail moon@derbycathedral.org.
