Training provider reaps rewards of automation
Training provider EMA Training has revealed how it is saving thousands of pounds through the use of “practical automation”.
According to the Derby-based firm, it is saving almost £18,000 a year by implementing automation across multiple departments, including finance, marketing, recruitment, delivery, sales and HR.

It said by streamlining everyday processes and reducing manual admin, the organisation has saved 1,458 hours annually, improving efficiency, staff wellbeing and customer experience.
Rather than introducing automation as a single large system, EMA focused on gradual, targeted improvements designed to support teams in their day-to-day roles.
Managing director Tracey Mosley explained that automation at EMA was not about replacing people, but about enabling them to work more effectively.
She said: “Automation removes the need for people to go searching for information.
“It ensures the right data reaches the right people instantly, allowing teams to focus on meaningful work rather than repetitive admin.”
