Flint Bishop, Ascentant Accountancy and Wavensmere Homes are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments.

Derby-based law firm Flint Bishop has appointed corporate partner Russell Bainbridge from Knights, marking the latest investment in the company’s corporate practice.

Russell brings more than a decade of experience advising businesses, shareholders and lenders on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, employee ownership trusts, corporate restructurings and governance matters.

He has acted for clients ranging from owner-managed businesses and SMEs to listed companies, with particular expertise in the healthcare, manufacturing and waste management sectors.

Chief executive Qamer Ghafoor said: “Russell is an excellent addition to our corporate team and brings significant experience of advising on complex transactions across a number of important sectors.

“His combination of technical expertise and commercial understanding will be a real asset to our clients as we continue to grow our corporate offering.

“His appointment also reinforces our commitment to building our presence across the regions.”

Flint Bishop has also announced the appointment of Charlotte Harris as partner in its commercial property team at the Sheffield office.

Charlotte brings more than 20 years’ experience in commercial property, advising a broad range of clients including investment businesses, banks, healthcare operators and organisations across the energy, renewables and waste sectors.

Qamer Ghafoor said: “Charlotte’s appointment represents another significant step forward for Flint Bishop as we continue to invest in Sheffield and strengthen our presence across the region.

“Her extensive experience, strong understanding of the local market and expertise across key sectors make her an excellent addition to our commercial property team.”

Ascentant Accoutancy has unveiled Scott Reast as its new practice manager.

Scott brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be working closely with both clients and the team as the business continues to grow.

He said: “I’m really excited to be joining Ascentant. The team has built a fantastic reputation for putting clients first, and I’m looking forward to helping build on that.

“Living in Ripley, it’s especially rewarding to be part of a business that’s so invested in supporting local people and businesses. I can’t wait to get started.”

Wavensmere Homes has welcomed new technical manager Ryan Pritchard to its team.

He joins from Countryside Partnerships, where he led the technical delivery of projects from initial concept through to completion.

Prior to that, he was a design co-ordinator at Bellway Homes, undertaking design management and having an active involvement with on-site construction.
