The latest Bondholder appointments and promotions

Ford & Stanley, BSP Consulting, Rothera Bray and Nelsons are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group has welcomed three new team members into the company’s pool of in-house talent.

All three join the group’s recruitment business, with Myles Robinson joining as recruitment consultant, Sarah Pugh appointed senior recruitment consultant and Rebecca Stanton coming on board as business manager for key accounts.

Sam Ford, technical recruitment director at Ford & Stanley, said: “We’re thrilled to boost our talented team with the arrival of Myles, Sarah and Becca.

“Their skills and input will be making a positive difference, particularly as we begin a series of new partnership contracts for 2024 and beyond.”

Civil and structural engineering firm BSP Consulting has made internal promotions to create two new associate directors.

Civil engineer Carol Ell has been with the company 20 years next month, while finance manager James Payne joined BSP from school in August 2001 and has held a variety of roles within the business.

Carl Hilton, managing director at BSP Consulting, said: “Both Carol and James have proven themselves to be very committed to BSP Consulting, with almost 43 years of service between them.

“They bring an energy and enthusiasm to the company, which very much contributes to our success.

“I am pleased to announce that they have both earned a well-deserved promotion to associate director and congratulate them on their new appointments.”

Law firm Rothera Bray has made a raft of promotions, including two new partners.

Ann Farnill, previously a senior associate solicitor in wills and probate, and Emily Weston, formerly a senior associate solicitor in conveyancing, have become partners.

Four staff have also moved up to senior associate, including transport solicitor Olivia Maginn, conveyancing associates Julekha Nathani and Kiran Phagura and wills and probate associate Eleanor Robinson.

Additionally, family law solicitor Charley Kelly, conveyancing solicitor Tina Rana, and wills and probate solicitor Aleksandra Cebula, have been recognised with promotions to associate positions.

“These promotions highlight not only the dedication and excellence demonstrated by each individual but also the firm’s commitment to investing in its people, nurturing talent and fostering growth within its ranks.”

Law firm Nelsons has promoted three employees within its personal injury, residential property and dispute resolution teams in Derby.

Personal injury specialist Dianne Collins has been promoted to legal director, supporting the department to further enhance its strong reputation for high-quality service.

Craig Bennett and Catherine Griffiths have also been promoted to senior associates, with Craig dealing with commercial litigation in the dispute resolution team and Catherine advising on conveyancing in the residential property team.

Chief executive Stewart Vandermark said: “Dianne, Craig and Catherine have shown great commitment and dedication to their departments and clients.

“They are all an integral part of their teams in Derby. I would like to congratulate the three of them on their well-deserved promotions and look forward to seeing their continued growth at Nelsons.”
