Staff’s pride at glowing Ofsted report
Staff at The Early Years Community are celebrating after one of its day nurseries received a glowing report from Ofsted inspectors.
In its first inspection as a company, the Osmaston Day Nursery was recognised as being ‘strong in all areas’ under the new Ofsted framework.
The inspector recognised the impact of the team’s work, noting that “children thrive in a setting where high-quality education and care support them to achieve incredibly well”.
The inspector added that “staff demonstrate genuine care and kindness” and that “children become confident communicators”.

The report also reflects the safe, nurturing environment created for children, the focus on high-quality, individualised learning, and the strong leadership and teamwork behind the setting.
It also highlights the strength of its work within a family hub, supporting not just children but the wider needs of families.
In a statement, The Early Years Community said: “This outcome reflects the consistency, care and commitment the team bring every day, as well as the strong relationships built with families.
“Most importantly, it shows what matters most – children who feel safe, valued and supported to grow in confidence and independence.
“We’re very proud of this achievement across our nurseries and what it represents for the children, families and teams we support.”
