Sponsorship open for food and drink awards

Excitement is building ahead of the official launch of this year’s Marketing Derby Food and Drink Awards – and you can be part of this prestigious event.
Attracting thousands of public nominations every year, the awards celebrate the very best of Derby’s food and drink scene.

This year, nominations are set to open on 27 June – with the awards culminating in a spectacular awards ceremony at The Chocolate Factory on 6 October, which will attract hundreds of people.
There will be 11 categories – and sponsorship is now open for those categories.
As well as gaining media exposure through Marketing Derby’s channels, sponsors will judge their own category – and have the opportunity to sample the food and drink of their chosen finalists as ‘mystery’ customers!
Christopher Tebbs, inward investment executive at Marketing Derby and Food and Drink Awards lead, said: “Our fantastic sponsors allow us to continue to run these vital awards year in year out, helping to show support for a sector that is often overlooked.
“Although if I’m being honest the best part of sponsoring is that each sponsor gets to become a ‘mystery judge’ for three evenings and visit each of the shortlisted finalists in their category. They also then get to hand over the award on the night!”
