Derby High School has announced it has been accepted as members of a prestigious association of leading independent schools.

The school has become a member of the Heads’ Conference (HMC), membership of which signifies a commitment to academic excellence, innovation in education, and a dedication to providing students with the best possible educational experience.

The school followed a rigorous application process culminating in a two-day inspection and now benefits from membership among some of the world’s leading independent schools.

Head Amy Chapman said: “Being accepted into HMC is a significant milestone for our school.

“It not only recognises the high academic standards we uphold but also affirms our commitment to providing the best possible education for your children.

“This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our students, the support of our parents, and the dedication of our exceptional staff.”
