The Pepperpot restaurant has announced the launch of a free to join business club designed specifically around the needs of local companies and working professionals.

Located in the Nightingale Quarter, The Pepperpot has built a strong reputation since opening.

It has recently been awarded 2 AA Rosettes within just two years, alongside being named Restaurant of the Year at the  2025 Marketing Derby Food and Drink Awards.

Now, it is introducing a new approach to business dining, which it believes recognises that the expectations of business customers are different from those of traditional restaurant guests.

The Pepperpot Business Club has been created to offer a more considered and practical solution for business lunches, combining efficient, well-paced service with preferential pricing on the restaurant’s full  lunch menu.

Importantly, there is no separate or reduced offering, with members receiving the same  dishes, portions and quality that all guests enjoy, simply with added value for businesses who choose to  return regularly.

Membership is free, with no joining fee or subscription, removing any barrier for businesses to  engage and experience the offering.

Owner Graeme Fulton, from the Fulton Partnership, said: “We recognised there was a gap in Derby for a business lunch experience that genuinely understands the working day.

“Time is limited, expectations are high and consistency really matters when you’re hosting clients or meeting colleagues.

“The Business Club is our way of responding to that. It’s about offering something more tailored, where businesses know they can rely on us, not just for quality food, but for an experience that works around them.”

Alongside its focus on lunch, the Business Club also provides businesses with access to The Nightingale, The Pepperpot’s private corporate boardroom and dining space.

Members are invited to experience it with a complimentary first meeting, followed by preferential rates thereafter.

The club also includes a range of practical benefits designed to support how businesses operate day to day, including flexible preordering, invoice billing option and a ‘PA Appreciation’ initiative.

This recognises the  role of PAs and office managers who regularly organise bookings, offering occasional perks and experiences  as a gesture of appreciation and helping to build stronger, long-term relationships with the people behind  the bookings.

Graeme added: “At its heart, this is about building lasting relationships with Derby’s business community.

“We’re not looking at this as a short-term promotion, but as a long-term partnership.

“We want businesses to feel confident using The Pepperpot regularly, whether that’s for a quick lunch, a client meeting, or simply stepping away from the office. If we get the experience right, everything else follows.”

To encourage businesses to experience The Pepperpot first hand, new members are offered a month of complimentary coffee for their entire team, giving them the opportunity to visit informally, get to know the space and meet the team, with no obligation.
