Recruitment firm launches new peer network

SF Recruitment has launched a new peer network for women occupying the most senior finance roles across the region.

The invitation-only group, called Elavare, is where women in finance leadership can connect, share and elevate one another.

It recently met for its inaugural dinner, which saw 14 founding members, including chief financial officers, finance directors and heads of finance, come together.

Despite the region’s economic strength, women remain under-represented at the top of finance.

Across the Midlands, just 21%of CFOs are female, highlighting the need for a space that fosters genuine peer connection, support and strategic exchange.

Rebecca Parnell, managing director at SF Recruitment, said: “Elavare was created to fill a clear gap in the Midlands market.

“There are many networks for aspiring professionals, but very few that provide a safe, strategic space for women already leading at the top of finance.

“Elavare exists for those conversations that can only happen peer-to-peer.”
