Rams onto a winner with telecoms specialist

Derby County is benefitting from new and improved communication systems thanks to work carried out by EVAD.

The Rams had been looking to move to a more flexible, reliable and capable solution, covering stadium telephony, hospitality, sales, ticket office, club store, customer service and the training facility for 100 users.

The club also wanted to renew their mobile agreement and facilitate more flexible working by integrating telephony services into the mobile estate and also providing home/remote working.

EVAD offered a flexible cloud telephony solution, meeting all of the above requirements, while also adding a fully managed mobile agreement for 100 staff.

Along with the hosted cloud telephony, the club also ported the club’s mobile estate across to EVAD, who were on site during the handset swap process to ensure the smooth transfer of files and settings for the users.

Martin Coleman, head of IT services at Derby County, said: “The club was looking for a partner that could advise us on the best solutions available based on our requirements.
