PwC completes £2bn of transactions

PwC has announced that its transaction services and lead advisory teams in the Midlands have completed £2 billion of deals in the past year.

According to the firm, it completed 19 deals in the financial year 2022/23, with the technology, media and telecom sector seeing high activity levels.

Deals in the industrials and business services sector also remained strong, particularly in the infrastructure services sector.

Simon White, deals partner and Midlands private business and private equity leader, at PwC, said: “We have seen a good level of activity over the last 12 months, despite the economic and geopolitical challenges that have been impacting the market.

“ESG, technology and transformation continue to be the focus areas for our clients and the team in the Midlands has a variety of experts able to deliver these services.

“As we move into the new financial year, activity remains buoyant and we’re seeing green shoots of economic recovery.”
