Training provider EMA Training has teamed up with a data and AI consultancy to launch a new leadership training programme.

The Derby firm has partnered with Meesh Consulting, which helps businesses implement practical data and AI solutions.

They have come together to launch AI & ME – an initiative designed to give businesses the confidence to adopt and apply AI effectively across their operations.

It follows a successful Marketing Derby Bondholder event – An Introduction to AI – which EMA Training recently hosted at its head office.

The announcement comes after EMA Training was formally approved to deliver brand-new government-backed Apprenticeship Units, including AI & ME, which is set to begin next month.

These short training units are designed to help employers build capability in AI, delivering tangible outcomes and the confidence to apply learning effectively within their business without committing to a full apprenticeship programme.

While a number of providers will offer these new units, EMA Training says it is taking a distinct approach.

The AI & ME initiative is focused not just on technical adoption, but on empowering people.

The programme places emphasis on leadership, collaboration and practical application, supporting businesses to integrate AI in a way that enhances skills rather than replaces them.

Developed in partnership with Meesh Consulting, which has extensive experience developing and implementing real world solutions, the programme combines EMA’s training expertise with real-world AI and data experience, ensuring employers gain commercially relevant insight and actionable strategies.

Tracey Mosley, managing director at EMA Training, said: “AI is transforming the way businesses operate, but confidence and understanding remain key barriers.

“AI and ME is about putting people at the centre of that change – helping leaders and teams build the knowledge, confidence and strategy to use AI effectively.

“Partnering with Meesh Consulting allows us to bring real-world experience into the classroom, ensuring businesses don’t just learn about AI, but understand how to apply it in a meaningful and sustainable way.”

The AI Leadership Units are aimed at business owners, directors, senior leadership teams and managers.

In addition, EMA Training will also be offering a full Level 4 AI apprenticeship, providing a longer-term pathway for businesses looking to build deeper capability across departments and teams.

Employers interested in accessing funded training through the apprenticeship levy or government funding are encouraged to register their interest with EMA Training ahead of launch.
