A new recruitment consultancy backed by Barron McCann has been launched to support growing organisations find, hire and retain exceptional talent.

Seasoned recruiter Dee Fletcher, who has operated in the East Midlands market for almost two decades, has launched Precept Recruit, a sister company to employment law and HR specialists, Precept.

Both firms are backed by the Baron McCann group and operate from the organisation’s headquarters in the Meteor Centre, in Derby.

Dee began her career at 18 with a recruitment agency in Ireland before progressing to consultant roles and later branch manager for a regional boutique agency at the age of just 23.

She has held positions with Adecco, Reed and Key Personnel; cofounded and run Response Network Recruitment for 10 years and most recently built the HR and marketing divisions at Cherry Professional.

She said: “We’ve launched Precept Recruit to support businesses and help them attract the best people for their needs – especially at a time when finding talent is one of the biggest challenges facing growing businesses.

“Our goal is to combine genuine local insight with the professionalism and reach of a national consultancy.

“I’ve spent my career building relations and supporting companies to create high performing teams in this region.

“Precept Recruit brings that experience together with a simple promise: put service first, do the hard yards for clients and candidates and build partnerships that last.

“Launching with the Baron McCann group’s backing means we can scale thoughtfully while never compromising delivery.”

Precept Recruit specialises across sectors which include executive appointments, HR, marketing and communications, accountancy and finance, sales and account management and IT and engineering.

As part of the wider Precept family, clients can also access HR, training and employment law support through Precept HR & Employment Law service, with the potential for preferential rates when services are combined.

Precept HR director and co-owner Rob Tice said: “We’ve known Dee for several years and seen first-hand the calibre of delivery.

“The East Midlands needs a recruitment partner that blends deep local networks with modern, data driven search and that’s exactly what Precept Recruit offers.”

Chief innovation officer, Craig Watson, who is responsible for strategic growth for the Barron McCann group, said: “The addition of Precept Recruit further strengthens our professional service offering across our group and is the latest step in our growth strategy, enabling us to offer a broader and more diverse portfolio of services and solutions.”
