Leadership mentor Gary Parsons has launched a new free-to-join community which aims to help leaders avoid burnout.

The Selfish Leader Club has been launched in response to the growing toll of “hustle culture” – and is grounded in a simple but powerful belief that leaders perform better, live better, and lead better when they prioritise themselves.

Rather than glorifying overwork, the club provides a space for reflection, conversation, and practical tools.

It offers immediate access to insights and resources for leaders who are ready to do things differently, not just for their teams, but for themselves.

Gary said: “There’s still a stigma around leaders putting their own needs first.

“But the truth is, when you invest in your own wellbeing, your business, your team, and your relationships all benefit. That’s what strategic leadership really looks like.”

The launch follows growing interest in Gary’s work around Selfish Leadership – a movement built on his personal experience of growing a multi-award-winning business while silently battling depression and anxiety.

Over recent months, he has been delivering keynote talks and workshops to HR professionals, business founders and senior leaders across the UK, challenging traditional leadership norms and championing healthier, more sustainable ways to lead.

His forthcoming book, Why Selfish Leaders Make the Best Leaders, will expand on the ideas behind the movement and introduce his signature SELF Framework – helping leaders Set boundaries, Elevate wellbeing, Lead with intention and Foster growth.

Members of the club receive:

*An 11-page Leadership Wellbeing Report based on insights from 338 leaders.

*Bi-weekly Selfish Leadership insights from Gary.

*Behind-the-scenes stories from the Leaders in Disguise podcast

*Member-only tools, downloads, and first access to upcoming events.

*A growing community of like-minded leaders shifting the culture of leadership
