Derby City Council’s Derby Market Hall is set to stage a high-end fashion festival this weekend.

Produced by Eredità & aDesso, Cirque de la Mode is an immersive three-day fashion festival celebrating regional design talent, textile artisans, and style enthusiasts alike.

Beginning on Friday 7 August, it will see the venue host live runway shows, hands-on masterclasses, creative presentations and industry-led talks.

The festival is designed to cater to everyone from aspiring designers looking to refine their skills to fashion lovers seeking front-row access to the region’s latest collections.

Anne Chaisty, owner of Eredità & aDesso, said: “I’m really excited to bring this event to Derby Market Hall.

“The atmosphere will be warm and welcoming, with models of all shapes, ages and backgrounds.”

Councillor Gurkiran Kaur, the city council’s cabinet member for city centre, culture and tourism, said: “Derby Market Hall is the perfect backdrop for this exciting fashion event.

“Cirque de la Mode highlights our commitment to supporting local culture, creative industries, and vibrant events that bring our city centre to life.”
