Live streaming specialist Fused Media has helped thousands of fans enjoy live coverage of a major BMX event in Derby.

At the weekend, the city played host to the Lloyds Bank BMX National Series.

Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, the event was hosted at the Derby BMX Club track in Alvaston Park.

The event marked the final rounds of the 2026 National Series, following previous stops this season in Manchester, Glasgow, Gosport, and Cardiff.

Organised by British Cycling, it saw around 1,000 riders from across the UK take part, aged six to over 55, spanning grassroots talent to elite national racers.

It attracted a large audience – not just in person – but also online, thanks to the expertise of the team at Derby-based Fused Media, which specialises in covering live sports, corporate events and concerts.

The live stream production company made sure no-one watching online missed out on the action, as it provided a full multi-camera broadcast complete with live timing, race graphics and commentary.

Simon Greene, from Fused Media, said: “Our live streams for the series typically average 11,000 views per day on YouTube, so this event provided huge digital exposure for the city and the venue.

“We have covered every stop on the national series this season, which made broadcasting the finale right here in our home city a major highlight for our team.”
