Law firm Flint Bishop has reported its strongest financial performance to date, achieving revenue of more than £30 million.

For the 12 months ending 30 April, the firm reported a record turnover of £31.7 million – representing a 53% year-on-year growth, compared to £20.7 million for the prior year.

This achievement comes on the heels of several consecutive years of strategic expansion and resilience in the face of economic challenges and increased overheads.

According to the firm, its focused investment in excellence, innovation, and people has underpinned its continued success.

In response to a significant surge in demand across all commercial and private client practice areas, Flint Bishop has seen unprecedented recruitment and internal progression.

Over the past year, the firm has welcomed a wave of strategic hires, including team acquisitions from Walker Morris LLP and Rebel Energy.

These additions have contributed to a 34% increase in headcount, bringing the total number of employees to 323.

This period of rapid growth has also seen substantial investment in the firm’s infrastructure and technology, along with the introduction of enhanced staff benefits, securing of numerous high-profile clients, opening of two new office locations, and the launch of a range of innovative service lines to enhance client offerings.

Chief executive Qamer Ghafoor said: “I’m incredibly proud of our achievements this year, having surpassed £30 million in revenue for the first time in the firm’s history.

“With our four current office locations—Birmingham, Derby, Leeds, and Swansea—serving as strong foundations, we will continue to expand our full-service offering and create opportunities for growth across both commercial and private client areas.

“We are in advanced discussions regarding further acquisitions and are actively exploring opportunities to expand into new locations.

“We are firmly committed to maintaining our trajectory of growth, innovation, and service excellence—delivering outstanding value to clients and creating a workplace where people thrive.

“I would like to thank all our staff for their unwavering commitment, hard work, and belief in the vision of our firm.

“This success belongs to all of us, and I look forward to everything we will accomplish together in the year ahead and beyond.”
