IT specialist rebrands following merger

Managed IT support and cybersecurity specialists Ashgates IT has been rebranded after merging with another company last year.

Ashgates IT is part of accountancy and business advisory firm Ashgates, which last summer became part of DJH, an accountancy and professional services group, which has 10 offices across the Midlands, North-West and Yorkshire.

Ashgates, which is based on Pride Park, has now adopted the DJH brand – and Ashgates IT has been rebranded as DJH Tech Partners.

The move follows the best year in the Derby-based business’ history, with £6 million of annual revenue secured and growing demand for its additional in-house services, including specialist R&D and capital allowance support, commercial funding, estate planning and HR.

Steve Martin, director at DJH Derby, said: “We’ve had an excellent 12 months since joining the group, making it an easy step to take on the DJH name in our second year.

“Our existing clients have experienced a seamless transition, and we have also attracted a number of new owner-managed businesses as a result of the complementary services we can offer.”
