Hospice cuts ribbon on latest charity shop

Treetops Hospice has officially opened the doors to its newest charity shop.
Located in King Street, Belper, the unit is the end-of-life charity’s 19th retail store in Derbyshire.
The shop was officially opened by Lola Amuah, a local influencer and charity shop enthusiast.

The Belper store offers a wide range of pre-loved items, including clothing, accessories, books, toys and bric-a-brac, with cash raised from every item sold funding the vital care Treetops provides to people living with a life-limiting illness.
James Thomas, head of retail at Treetops, said: “We have provided care in the Belper area for many years and so I have been determined to open a store in such an important community.
“I am immensely proud to have, with the help of a fantastic team, finally achieved this goal.
“Hopefully, this will not only help us raise vital income to support our services, but that it also raises awareness of the great work Treetops does in this wonderful community.”
To help keep stock replenished, Treetops is always looking for clothing, toys, games, bric-a-brac and books to sell in its shops. To find out more, visit http://www.treetopshospice.org.uk/shops/.
