Marketing Derby Bondholders with live vacancies to fill are being urged to take a free stand at a major jobs fair being organised by Derby City Council and Severn Trent Water.

The city council’s Derby Jobs service has teamed up with the water giant to stage the Big Boost for Derby Jobs Fair, which is set to take place at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium on Wednesday 22 November, from 10am to 2pm.

According to organisers there is no fee for employers to take a stand – they just need to have live vacancies around the time of the event.

The aim of the event is to connect people with jobs, employers, skills and support.

It will have up to 30 employer stands, providing information on a range of full and part-time vacancies across a variety of sectors.

The jobs fair will also have experts offering live sessions on CV writing, interview practice and how to grow your confidence at work.

And there will be organisations present who can offer advice on the cost-of-living and getting back into work.

Severn Trent has said it will also be holding on-the-spot interview screening for roles within its company.

For more information and to register for the event visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/big-boost-for-derby-jobs-fair-tickets-728311909527?aff=oddtdtcreator .

Bondholders interested in taking a free stand at the event should contact Chris Bradley at Chris.Bradley@derby.gov.uk.
