Foundation team to take on fundraising hike

The team at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation are set to take on a challenging 20-mile hike to raise funds to support its work.
On 23 June, they will take on the Edale Skyline Challenge, which involves traversing the hills around Edale, including Kinder Scout and Mam Tor.

The money raised will support the foundation’s work in empowering communities and improving lives through cricket.
It said that £10 could fund three people attending the foundation’s Monday Mates Dementia Group or Parkinson’s Cricket Project, while £25 would support a child to attend a whole day holiday camp.
£50 could support the cost of a coach to deliver a session in a primary school for a whole morning and £100 could provide an Access to Cricket Grant voucher for someone facing financial barriers.
Finally, £500 could help establish a new Walking Cricket Hub in an area not currently served,
