Fit out firm DSP (Interiors) has announced the completion of a contract to turn a warehouse into a state-of-the-art headquarters for a Dubai-based conglomerate.

The Derby firm has transformed the 115,000 sq ft building in Wolverhampton into the new UK base for Western International Group (WIG).

DSP was appointed to deliver the comprehensive two-storey interior development – transforming a blank canvas into a sophisticated premises tailored to the needs of WIG, which has a global presence across electronics, home appliances, fashion and retail.

The new base will be home to its flagship brand, Geepas, and will support its growing operations.

The facility includes a dedicated showroom, a stylish breakout area, a creative studio, a playroom, meeting rooms and a prayer room.

Louisa Priestley, DSP Interior’s managing director, said: “DSP Interiors was appointed to design and deliver a comprehensive two-storey fit-out covering 10,000 sq ft of office space within the building.

“Acting as both principal designer and contractor, DSP worked closely with Western International from initial concept design and space planning through to full interior build and final delivery.

“Every detail was carefully considered to ensure the new headquarters reflected both the scale of Western International’s operations and its ambitions for the future.”

Since opening its first UK operations in 2018, WIG – the parent company behind brands such as Geepas, Royalford, Delcasa and Babyplus – has steadily grown its footprint across Britain.

Suhail CV, managing director of WIG UK, said: “DSP Interiors were instrumental in turning our vision into reality, creating a headquarters that supports high performance and adapts to the demands of today’s market.

“Their proactive solutions and attention to detail made sure the end result was exactly what we needed. We’re thrilled with our new space.”
