Volunteers from medical technology manufacturer Pennine Healthcare have helped make a key fund-raising event for animal charity RSPCA Derby a success.

The charity’s Abbey Street shelter recently hosted a Halloween-themed open day to raise funds to support its work, rescuing and rehoming animals.

Staff from Pennine gave up their time to go to the shelter to help the charity prepare for the event – decorating its courtyard with balloons and bunting and helping to set up stalls and games.

In a statement, RSPCA Derby said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Carl, Jagienka and Toni from Pennine Healthcare who helped us set up for our Halloween open day.

“Our centre looked amazing, and our open day was a huge success!”

In a statement, Pennine Healthcare said: “The day was very successful, and Pennine was pleased to have been involved.”
