Rhodes Wealth Management has announced it has achieved carbon neutral status after teaming up with an organisation to offset its emissions.

The financial services firm has joined with Carbon Neutral Britain Woodland Fund to support verified carbon offsetting projects around the world.

The fund supports reforestation, deforestation prevention and woodland management projects.

Some of the projects it has supported include preventing deforestation in the Amazon rainforest, reforestation after wildfires in Australia, as well as woodland planting in the UK.

In addition to supporting this initiative, Rhodes is also aiming to measure and reduce its emissions each year and find ways in the medium term to reduce its carbon footprint and boost sustainability.

Managing director Tristan Gilbody said: “We are proud to have achieved carbon neutral status and we are committed to playing our part in the energy transition and making a real difference by investing in a greener future.

“We hope to inspire other companies in the financial services industry to make this much needed and positive change.”
