Staff from technology consultancy TBAT Innovation are training to take part in a gruelling 300-mile cycle challenge.

Chris Smith, Richard Hine, Ryan Mouncy, and Dave Schorah will be taking on the three-day Iron to Iron Cycling Challenge from 1 October.

They will be raising money for the Brittle Bone Society (BBS) as one of TBAT’s staff has a child with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI).

The 300-mile route, which goes from Meldon Viaduct, in Devon, to the Bennerley Viaduct, at Ilkeston.

The route, which includes over 16,000 sq ft of uphill climbing, also takes in some other iconic bridges, such as the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Severn Bridge, Ironbridge, and Friar Gate Bridge.

The team has set a fundraising target of £2,000. To donate visit their Just Giving page here.

The team is also welcoming any donations of kit and supplies. To discuss further contact Richard Hine by clicking here.
