Corporate wellbeing firm answers call out of the Blue

Corporate wellbeing firm Hands on at Work made sure members of legendary boyband Blue were limbered up for their recent show at Vaillant Live.

Back in April, as part of their 25th anniversary tour, the band – regarded as one of the biggest boybands of the 2000s – played to an adoring crowd at the Derby venue.

However, when some of the band members requested massage treatments ahead of the performance, Faye Nixon, Vaillant Live’s head of sales, marketing and guest experience, had to think quickly.

She turned to fellow Marketing Derby Bondholder Hands on at Work to see if anyone was available to perform massages for the band and their team.

Tina Portman, director at Hands on at Work, said: “We received a phone call from Faye on the off chance that we might be able to provide some massage treatments for the band members of Blue and their team while they were in Derby.

“Unfortunately, I wasn’t available personally but Hannah from our Hands on at Work team stepped in and went along to provide the treatments.

“She had a fantastic day and represented the business brilliantly.

“It was a great opportunity for Hannah – and a great example of the variety of wellbeing work we get involved with.”
